The Collaborative Forum is a blog that convenes practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and other stakeholders to consider the most pressing issues facing children worldwide. It features content that is child-focused and grounded in the lived experiences of children, their families, and communities.
The Collaborative Forum includes:
- The Forum on Faith and the Family, which convened faith leaders, practitioners, researchers, and other stakeholders to consider questions related to Christian faith communities and their contributions to both the propagation and prevention of child-family separation throughout history. With a particular focus on the Roman Catholic faith, contributors considered the extent to which religious belief systems and practices have justified or opposed the separation of children from families in a variety of historical and regional contexts. Contributors also explored the role of the Catholic Church in supporting vulnerable children, families, and communities and preventing unnecessary child-family separation
- The Breakthrough Series Collaborative Forum, which convened practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and other stakeholders to consider pressing questions related to global children's issues, including child protection and early childhood development for children on the move
- During spring 2022, the Collaborative Forum convened practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and other stakeholders to consider pressing questions related to innovating protection for children on the move across the Americas
