Rhonda Fleischer
UNICEF Programme Specialist
Rhonda Fleischer is a programme specialist in the UNICEF Migration and Displaced Children Programme. Fleischer leads UNICEF's response for migrant and refugee children in the U.S. and supports a route-based approach in the region. A licensed social worker with expertise in youth development and family mental health, she has been involved with refugee resettlement efforts nationally and internationally for two decades. Fleischer is a member of the Collaborative Design Team for Innovating Protection for Children on the Move Across the Americas, a forum convened by Georgetown University’s Collaborative on Global Children’s Issues and Institute for the Study of International Migration.
