Mary Kate Battle is the program manager for the Strengthening Families for Thriving Children Global Strategic Change Platform with Catholic Relief Services (CRS). She has worked with CRS in Uganda, Jordan, Egypt, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, and Sierra Leone in various roles. Previously, Battle worked with the United States Institute of Peace and the Farm of the Child, a child protection center in Honduras. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. Battle is a member of the Collaborative Design Team for Faith and the Family, a forum convened by Georgetown University’s Collaborative on Global Children’s Issues and Catholic Relief Services.
