Karis Danner-McDonald (C'24) is an undergraduate student at Georgetown University majoring in sociology and double minoring in justice and peace studies and in religion, ethics, and world affairs. She has led research for the Georgetown Prison Outreach Program and is a member of the Youth Justice Advocacy Committee at Georgetown’s Center for Social Justice Research, Teaching and Service, where she also previously worked with programs such as the ASK Mentorship Program and DC Reads. She is a member of Georgetown’s chapter of Alpha Sigma Nu and Theta Alpha Kappa. She is interested in foster care and family separation. Karis is a 2023 undergraduate student fellow with the Georgetown University Collaborative on Global Children's Issues, where she is a member of the Collaborative Design Team for Faith and the Family, a forum convened by the collaborative and Catholic Relief Services.
