Caroline (Carrie) McDonald (C’24) is the program assistant for the Collaborative on Global Children’s Issues at Georgetown University. She recently earned her bachelor’s degree in government with minors in journalism and French from Georgetown University, where she was an active advocate for the gun violence prevention movement and led the university’s chapter of March For Our Lives. Her previous experience includes interning at non-governmental organizations like Reporters Without Borders and gun violence prevention organizations Giffords and Brady: United Against Gun Violence. She also has a background in journalism, having worked on the national sports desk of USA Today and as senior sports editor of The Hoya.
