Annick Febrey

Annick Febrey is a senior fellow at the Georgetown University Collaborative on Global Children’s Issues and is a global leader in ethical trade and labor rights, with deep expertise in forced labor and child labor. She serves as co-founder and principal of Better Trade Collective, where she works at the intersection of trade enforcement, labor rights, and supply-chain accountability, focusing on worker-informed due diligence and effective remediation.
- As deputy director for the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Child Labor, Forced Labor, and Human Trafficking in the Bureau of International Labor Affairs, directed the publication of ILAB’s annual Findings on the Worst Forms of Child Labor report, assessing over 130 countries on their efforts to address child labor, and the List of Goods Produced by Child Labor or Forced Labor.
- Led the Department of Labor’s early implementation of the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA).
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in policy studies from Dickinson College and a Level 3 Award in Wines from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
