Collaborative on Global Children's Issues

Ameena Razzaque (G'23) is completing her master’s degree in Asian Studies at the School of Foreign Service and working on her thesis on identity and belonging among recent Afghan immigrants arriving in the United States. She is from San Antonio, Texas and the daughter of Pakistani-Punjabi immigrants. She completed her undergraduate degree at Dartmouth College where she created her major titled, “Women's Health in the MENASA (Middle Eastern, North African, and South Asian) Region” and also majored in Middle Eastern studies. As a Thomas R. Pickering Fellow, she will join the State Department as a U.S. Diplomat upon graduation. Ameena is a 2022-2023 graduate student fellow with the Collaborative on Global Children's Issues.
